I’m Zandeleen, and I started bakt in Pretoria because I wanted to share bakes that taste every bit as good as they look. We’re starting with themed cookie boxes (some borrowed from my bookshelf) and rich, gooey brownies, with pastry boxes and seasonal collections to follow.

Every order is baked for the date you choose, never pulled from a shelf. Cookies are pre-order only and are sent out on a set date.

Each gift box is tied with ribbon and sealed with the bakt wax seal, so it arrives ready to give.

How far ahead should I order?
Order by 15:00 at least 4 days ahead. Corporate orders need 3 weeks’ notice, or more over the festive season.
Can I change my pickup or delivery date?
Yes, if you let us know at least 4 days before your original date. After that, your order may already be in the oven.
Do you cater for allergies?
Everything is made in a small kitchen that handles nuts, sesame, wheat, eggs and dairy, so we can’t guarantee any bake is allergen-free. Each collection lists its ingredients, and you’re welcome to ask before ordering.
How should I store my order?
Keep cookies and brownies in an airtight container at room temperature. Cookies are best within 5 days and brownies within 4 days. Both freeze well for up to a month. Crisp cookies in the oven or air fryer, or warm them in the microwave if they have a chocolate filling.
Do you do corporate orders?
Yes, and we love them. We can add custom cards, edible prints or stickers to boxes for clients, teams, events and thank-yous. Minimum order is 30 items. Get in touch for pricing.
